The technique

A technician reaches behind the panel through a window channel, a light housing, or an access hole and pushes each low spot up in tiny increments, reading a striped light board reflected off the surface. The board is the measuring instrument: a dent your eye barely registers bends those stripes obviously.

No filler, no primer, no color, and the panel never goes anywhere near our auto body paint booth. The factory finish stays factory, which is the part that protects your resale value, because a vehicle with original paint is worth more than one with a refinished roof no matter how good the refinish was.

When we will tell you no

If the paint is cracked, refinishing is required anyway and the advantage disappears. Deep dents, sharp creases, damage sitting on a body line, and panels with a brace or foam directly behind them are all outside what the method can do well. We say so up front and walk you through the conventional repair instead, rather than attempting it and handing back a wavy panel.
